Ever have one of those moments where you’re totally immersed in thought out on the street when suddenly you’re clubbed over the head by a large salmon wielded by a large mexican woman who mistook you for her son Pedro?
Me neither.

I see in the news today that scientists have now made a sheep which is 15% human. This seemed rather strange to me until i realised it was for the sake of making replacement organs for sick people. This still strikes me as not just a little bit odd though. They’re endeavouring to make another creature more human to keep us alive, but at which point does the other animal basically just fall into the category of being a human anyway, in which case we’d suddenly find it ‘distasteful’ to use it for it’s intended purpose. If we are going to just overlook the fact that we’re basically growing a human anyway because of a slight mix of DNA wouldn’t it of just been quicker to begin at our end and just start making a human whose a little bit sheep? Some sort of ‘Sheepman’ or ‘Humeep’ i’d imagine.

It’s a weird world we live in.
